Communications as Outputs
Communications can be considered Outputs.
In the past, communication from a modern alarm system to the monitoring station was sent by phone lines or “Plain Old Telephone Service” (POTS).
POTS are analog phone lines. Would you be surprised to learn that some security and fire alarm systems, still use analog phone lines to dial into the Central Monitoring Station?
