Input devices can play a vital role in our every day lives.

Sometimes, we don’t realize the important role input devices play in our every day lives and for our future. Input devices monitor the status of equipment, such as freezers in medical research.

Recently, a janitor turned off a freezer to stop a beeping noise that it was making. That action destroyed 20 years of research. The type of freezer that was unplugged, typically sends an alarm if a change in temperature reaches a certain degree. The systems we implement monitor the rise or fall in that specified temperature or humidity range. They also monitor for power loss.
