Bypassing Zones
You have the option to bypass zones in order to arm a system.
Typically, once all zones are secure or “Ready,” the alarm can be “Armed” (or turned on).
Sometimes, there may be an issue with a specific zone. Perhaps it cannot be secured due to some type of trouble or other condition. When this happens, the zone must be bypassed to arm the rest of the system.

“Bypass” allows all the other zones to function properly while the bypassed zone is ignored.
Different manufacturers have their own bypass programming procedures.
