Not All Fire Systems are the Same

Commercial Fire alarms are legally required to protect people and property.

Fire alarms are not created equal. Technology has advanced and has helped us to create new fire systems. Now, each device has its own address. The fire alarm systems can talk to each device using two-way communication. For example, if a smoke detector is dirty, it can report the condition as “Trouble.” The monitoring station would receive the trouble signal and notify the dealer to have it repaired.

Addressable input devices can tell us specifically which devices are in alarm. Heat detectors can give us the temperature in each room. Smoke detector locations can be mapped out to determine where smoke is present.
