Do It Right the First Time
Regardless of the type of fire system you’re installing, there are codes and standards that provide guidelines to ensure that you do it right and do it safely.
State and local codes must always be observed. You will need drawings for your system to get an installation permit. Additionally, you’ll need to have inspections done to certify your installation with the city, county, or state. This is why it is always best to do it right the first time.
Failing the fire alarm system will effect building occupancy. No one can move into a building where a required fire alarm is not working. It is safe to assume that the fire marshal or inspector will not be pleased with failed inspections. They expect professional installations and demand the installation be up to code. We install life safety systems and these systems could be the difference between life and death.
If renters are due to move in and there is a failed inspection, schedules and deliveries will all have to be changed. The customer may have to pay for alternate housing if your deadlines are not met. This may lead to you having a bad reputation among potential customers.
