Just a reminder – D/C voltage has Polarity.

Positive and Negative termination points are important. Sending voltage to the terminals in reverse can burn up your device, your power supply or both.

Remember, when measuring DC voltage with a meter: Is there a – sign beside the displayed voltage? If there is a – sign, your wires are reversed.
